Anhvinh Wright is the Founder and President of Kraftlove. Mrs. Wright is a board certified behavior analyst who has been working in the field of autism for over 15 years. She began working as a student therapist at the Lovaas Institute for Early Intervention (L.I.F.E.) in 1996 where she learned about behavior modification using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis. After working as a private behavior therapist, Mrs. Wright became a behavior consultant at SEEK Education and later joined ABC Consultants as a Senior Behavior Consultant. In 2005 Mrs. Wright relocated to Virginia and became an ABA Coach for the Fairfax County Public Schools, where she provided behavior support to teachers and staff in the classroom. Most recently she has been serving as a behavior specialist for Falls Church City Schools. Mrs. Wright graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, with a double major in History and Psychology. She received her Masters in Applied Behavior Analysis from California State University, Los Angeles. Mrs. Wright, a mother of three, possesses a deep passion for helping children and believes in the power of simple crafting and creativity to bring children joy and enhance their healing environment. Brigette Polmar is the Chief Creative Officer for Brand Spoken, a communications and marketing firm specializing in brand journalism, content marketing, copywriting, scriptwriting and media relations. Dedicated to and energized by crystal clear communication that effortlessly educates and entertains a client’s target audience, Mrs. Polmar has crafted messaging for top brands, worked with leading agencies on key campaigns, and helped businesses and nonprofits of all sizes increase their visibility online and in the media. A sought after writer and speaker, Mrs. Polmar draws on a 15-year career as a broadcast journalist, Washington Correspondent and published author to give her clients – and their vision – a voice. From Vinh: Brigette is one of the savviest women I know. Her intelligence equally matches her loving heart, yet she is so humble and modest. I admire her so much for her compassion for others. Melanie Smith is Senior Vice President of Professional Risk Management Services, Inc., (PRMS). She manages the marketing and client relations functions for PRMS. This responsibility includes developing and implementing strategic marketing campaigns and communication activities to promote PRMS and client insurance programs in the healthcare marketplace. Ms. Smith has worked in the marketing, communications and public relations field since 1979. She was employed by the American Psychiatric Association Office of Member and Staff Benefits prior to joining PRMS in 1986. Previously, she was Marketing Manager for an educational association. Ms. Smith earned her bachelor’s degree in Public Relations Management from George Mason University.
From Vinh: My dear friend Melanie is not only one of the most kindhearted people I know, but also has the rare gift of being able to connect with people. She is one of the few people that I know that still writes handwritten cards and letters on a regular basis. She remembers half birthdays, birthdays and every important occasion in someone’s life. No matter how busy she is she always takes the time to make you feel like anything you have to say at any time is always important. Melanie is the great connector and a great professional. She will bring not only her incredible knowledge to our charity, but also her infectious sense of caring and empowerment to every Kraftlove stakeholder.
Lisa Nelson is an American Christian songwriter. Lisa co-writes music with Lea Emerson and is passionate about prayer. She enjoys sharing life with friends and family, music, reading, writing, walking, water-skiing, snow-skiing, antiquing, theatre, movies, dance, dining, resting, working and serving. She’s a personal friend of Kraftlove founder Anhvinh Wright and inspired to be part of Vinh’s vision and mission giving craft kits to kids.
